MAYOR’S DEPARTMENT Announcement: Request by Mayor, Pursuant to Title 3, Section H of the Charter, for a Report on the City’s Compliance with the Police Reform Task Force’s 50 Point Recommendations No comment. Announcement: April is Fair Housing Month Mayor Kim stated he has a proclamation for this. Discussion and Vote: Resolution Calling for Action at State & Federal Levels on Gun Violence Prevention Mayor Kim stated he will circulate the resolution urging congress and our state to action. Discussion and Vote: Ordinance Amending Municipal Code to Add Chapter 134 “Human Rights Protection,” Article 1 “Protection of Reproductive Rights” Mayor Kim stated that at the last City Council meeting there was discussion about one word in the ordinance. This has been resolved and will be ready to vote on. Discussion and Vote: Resolution on Municipal Liability Mayor Kim advised there have been a few suggestion from Council members that have been added to the resolution. Discussion and Vote: SEQRA Resolution RE: Proposed Amendments One Through Four to the UDO Mayor Kim advised SEQRA is required prior to votes on the amendments. Commissioner Montagnino asked which departments will be required to provide a report. Mayor Kim advised the Department of Public Safety will be one who is required but will be asking each department to report on where they think the compliance has been and if they expect to take any action with the 50-point recommendations.
