Mayor Kim called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.

1. New City Welcome Signage – Mayor Kim advised Supervisor Matt Veitch will present.
2. Missing Links Sidewalk Project – Mayor Kim advised Jenn Dunn will present.

Announcement: Recreation Department Completes Westside Destination Playground at Veteran’s
Memorial Park
Mayor Kim advised a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held this week.
Announcement: Meeting Schedule for Restorative Justice Panel
Mayor Kim advised the first meeting of the Restorative Justice Panel was held last week. The panel has
provided a full schedule of their meetings that he will share tomorrow evening.
Announcement: Set Public Hearing: Amend Chapter 225 – Remove Time Limit Parking on Joseph
Street
Mayor Kim advised they are setting a public hearing to hear the residents of Joseph Street. Some
residents have come to the Council to have the signs removed from Joseph Street only and other
residents want to keep the signs.
Announcement: Halloween Skate and Winter Registration

Announcement: City Hall Trick-Or-Treat Tuesday, October 31st 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Mayor Kim advised he is asking each department to be open for trick-or-treaters.

Commissioner Moran stated bid results have been received to create a short-term rental registry.
Award of Bid: Casino Parlor and Bar Room Plaster Restoration to PCC Contracting, Inc.

Commissioner Moran advised he is adding the following items: Announcement: Early Voting and Set a
Public Hearing to amend Chapter 136 of the City Code. Commissioner Moran stated his department is
trying to tighten up the wording and remove the sunset clause. The outdoor dining program has been
successful and the City is realizing revenue from the program.
FINANCE DEPARTMENT
Announcement: Update on City Finances
Commissioner Sanghvi stated the audited financial statement is completed.

Commissioner Montagnino advised this is to purchase a Police Department vehicle.

Commissioner Montagnino advised this is a piggyback contract from the County for traffic signal repairs.
Discussion and Vote: Authorization for the Mayor to Sign a Contract with Amchar
Commissioner Montagnino advised this is for weapons purchase on state contract.
Announcement: Darryl Mount Verdict
Commissioner Montagnino advised if there is no verdict, there would not be an announcement.
Commissioner Montagnino advised he is adding – discussion and vote to waive the fees for additional
patrol of Jewish houses of worship.

Mayor Kim moved and Commissioner Moran seconded to move into executive session to discuss
the Darryl Mount trial at 9:17 a.m.

Montagnino, and Mayor Kim)
Nays - 0
Council returned at 9:27 a.m.
Mayor Kim announced no decisions were made during executive session to report to the public.

Commissioner Sanghvi moved and Commissioner Montagnino seconded to adjourn the meeting
at 9:28 a.m.
