CITY OF SARATOGA SPRINGS CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING 474 BROADWAY, CITY COUNCIL ROOM APRIL 5th 2023 9:00am MINUTES PRESENT: CHAIRPERSON HOLMES COMMISSIONER LEIDIG ABSENT : COMMISSIONER ZANGRANDO ANNOUNCEMENT OF RECORDING OF PROCEEDINNGS The proceedings of this meeting are audio recorded for the benefit of the Commissions Coordinator who acts as Secretary. CHAIRPERSON HOLMES CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 9:10am and opened the public comment section. There being no one, public comment was closed at 9:11am. SCHOOL There were proposed revisions to an existing job specification that was tabled at the March meeting. There was a time sensitive timeline and the commission agreed to meet to discuss and vote prior to the next regularly scheduled meeting. In March, the civil service commission requested more information from the school district in regards to their request. Upon receiving that information and slightly revising their initial proposed revisions, the commission agreed to approve the proposed revisions to the Director of Transportation job specification. Motion made my Commissioner Leidig. Seconded by Chairperson Holmes. Motion carried unanimously.
