Approve meeting minutes from April 15, 2013 § Will approve minutes from April 15 and May 2 at June 6th meeting 2. Southern Adirondack Independent Living presentation § Shirley Dumont o Regarding accessibility on Broadway o A lot of businesses are not accessible o Least accessible part of Broadway is northwest near the City Center and the old community theater § Tim Barnett o Wants to see a master plan/inventory done of Broadway and surrounding blocks for accessibility and curb cuts o Brought in photos § City lots comply with ADA, possibly create a policy for an accessibility standard for parking spots and curb cuts 3. Other business § Ballston Ave Project, comment response sheet o Peter Faith – things to take into consideration o Midblock crosswalk will be included o 14 foot shared use lane will be used § Future CSAB meeting dates  o Meeting every month except for July and August 4. Next Steps § Identifying areas that are key connections that need repaving o Example: if Grand Ave is scheduled to be repaved, lobby for sharrows as a capital project § Linkage study is pending § Getting legislative review for a vote to gain forms, procedures, or policies to authenticate CSAB § Council will approve checklist § Board will elect a chair when Mayor appoints a replacement for Jackie § Review of City standards for options § Next meeting: June 6 Public Comment Jim Zack talked to Shirley and recommended that she look at other audits that may have occurred in the city and to look for standardized forms for conducting audits 2
