SARATOGA SPRINGS OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MAY 1, 2019 5:00 P.M. SARATOGA SPRINGS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS PRESENT: Tom Denny, Tim Holmes, Suzanne Kwasniewski; David Miller, Beth Wurtmann. A quorum was achieved during the meeting. ABSENT: Maureen Roberts, Erica Gifford. CITY STAFF: Tina Carton, Parks, Open Lands, Historic Preservation/Sustainability Coordinator; OTHERS PRESENT: Geoff Bornemann. CALL TO ORDER: Tom Denny called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. PUBLIC COMMENT-15 MINUTES Mr. Bornemann thanked the committee for posting materials on the website for public review. DISCUSSION OF NATURAL RESOURCE INVENTORY (NRI) MATERIALS FROM LABELLA Documents reviewed:  NRI Narrative Outline (aka Table of Contents)  NRI List of maps (with status of each)  NRI Inventory – Environmental Remediation Sites 1|Page  SARATOGA SPRINGS OPEN SPACE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MAY 1, 2019 5:00 P.M. SARATOGA SPRINGS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS DISCUSSION OF NATURAL RESOURCE INVENTORY (NRI) MATERIALS FROM LABELLA The committee reviewed the documents from LaBella from many perspectives, including: formatting; organization of the narrative outline, suggested added topics for the narrative outline; types of info and recommendations we expected in each section; ways to bring greater clarity to the maps; our desire for consistency in terminology, layout, fonts, and extent of city and buffer included in the mapped data. Committee members may send Tina Carton final comments on NRI Narrative Outline as soon as possible. Tina Carton will then distribute her revised NRI Narrative Outline to the OSAC for final comments before sending to LaBella ADJOURN There being no further business, Tom Denny adjourned the meeting at 6:40 p.m. (Holmes, Kwasniewski).
