The Department brought in over $1.2M in revenue. The 2022 Expenditures was 780,294.77 with 2023 had a $112,915.89 (14%) increase. The Recreation Department received $ 73,669.46 in the month of May 2023 and YTD collected $683,246.17 (54.4%) with remaining revenue of $573,237.83 to be collected along with $70,100.08 from OnDeck Capital Project. The 2022 Revenue was 643,902.16 with 2023 had a $39,344.01 (6%) increase. There was an increase in revenue in spite of losing 3 tournaments. 12. Discussion: Director’s Report – 2022 Annual Report – The Administrative Director – Recreation gave the report. 13. Discussion: Program Report – The Statistics report from 6/23/2023 was included on the online agenda. 830 sports camp participants had registered & up 200 Camp Saradac camper weeks. The Department was currently still taking registration. 14. Discussion and Vote: Accept $950.00 from USTA Eastern Growing Tennis Together Grant – The Saratoga Springs Recreation Commission accepted the $950.00 from the USTA Eastern Growing Tennis Together Grant by voice vote. 15. Discussion: 2024 Budget – The Recreation Commission discussed the 2024 budget. 16. Announcement: Skate Park Ceremony – At the time of agenda submission the time/date was pulled and is under review. The Department hoped to have specifics at the time of the meeting. Tentatively the ceremony would be on 7/20/23 at 12pm Adjournment The Saratoga Springs Recreation Commission adjourned the meeting by voice vote.
