April 8, 2015 ***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** April 8, 2015 SAUKVILLE MUNICIPAL CENTER 639 E GREEN BAY AVE SAUKVILLE, WISCONSIN Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Village Administrator Dawn Wagner gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Barb Dickmann-present, Dan Sauer-present, David Maglio-present, Mike Krocka-present, Michael Gielow-present, Joe Caban-present, and Scott Fischer-present. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Ray deBruijn, and Chief Goetz PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS None. APPROVE MINUTES OF MARCH 24, 2015 MEETING Maglio/Sauer made a motion to approve the March 24, 2015 minutes as presented. Motion carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Dickmann presented a card to Trustee Maglio on behalf of the Board for his retirement. Dickmann thanked all the Trustees for continuing their commitment to the Village of Saukville. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR None. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS Res. #1212 – Fund Balance Applied 4-2015 Dickmann read Res. #1212 – Fund Balance Applied 4-2015. Krocka/Caban made a motion to approve Res. #1212 Fund Balance Applied 4-2015 transferring $18,607.38 from the Fund Balance. Motion carried. Res. #1213 – Governmental Responsibility for Runoff Management Grants Krocka/Gielow made a motion to waive the reading of Res. #1213 – Governmental Responsibility for Runoff Management Grants. Motion carried. Gielow/Caban made a motion to approve Res. #1213 – Governmental Responsibility for Runoff Management Grants. Motion carried. REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee No report. Public Works Committee No report.  April 8, 2015 Public Safety Committee The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2015. Finance Committee Dickmann reported on the meeting of April 8, 2015. Res. #1212 – Fund Balance Applied 4-2015 was reviewed and recommended to the Village Board for approval. Res. #1213 – Governmental Responsibility for Runoff Management Grant was reviewed and recommended to the Village Board for approval. A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve a Letter of Recommendation – Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources – Urban Non-Point Source Planning Grant. Krocka/Gielow made a motion to approve the Letter of Recommendation – Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources – Urban Non-Point Source Planning Grant. Other Matters: Wagner congratulated the Village President and Trustees on retaining their seats on the Village Board. The Village will be participating in a Community Preparedness Day at the YMCA on Saturday, May 2nd. The Village is a sponsor of this event. The Committee received information from the League regarding the proposed elimination of Personal Property Tax and the substantial impact it would have on municipalities. The Annual OED Outreach Event to be held on April 29th at Shully’s. Dickmann shared information with regard to community sensitive design dollars. The statue between the two buildings has been repaired and re-installed. An update was given on the bids for the items on the on-line auction site. REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES Plan Commission No report. Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee No report. Library Board The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Mid-Moraine Municipal Association No report. OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS None.  April 8, 2015 LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS None.
