Village President Barb Dickmann called the meeting to order at 7:25 p.m.
Village Clerk Mary Kay Baumann gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Barb Dickmann-present, David Maglio-present, Joe Caban-present, Richard Belling-
present, Scott Fischer-present, Trevor Seitz-present, and Jim Nowlen-present.
Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Mary Kay Baumann, Chief Meyer, Ray deBruijn, and Dan Benson-
Ozaukee Press.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS
Ray deBruijn, speaking as a Village resident, stated that he appreciates all that the Board does
for the Village.
APPROVE MINUTES OF OCTOBER 2, 2018 MEETING
Maglio/Seitz made a motion to approve the October 2, 2018 minutes as presented. Motion
carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
Dickmann expressed thanks to the Board for all their work on the 2019 Budget.
REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
None.
ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS
Res. #1279 – Strategic Transportation Aids
Maglio/Fischer made a motion to waive the reading of Res. #1279 – Strategic Transportation
Aids Resolution. Motion carried.
Belling/Maglio made a motion to approve Res. #1279 – Strategic Transportation Aids. Motion
carried.

Utility Committee
No report.
Public Works Committee
No report.
Public Safety Committee
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
November 5, 2018
Finance Committee
Dickmann reported on the meeting of November 5, 2018.
Claims for September 2018 in the amount of $375,993.71 were reviewed and approved.
The Budget Watch and Investment Report were reviewed.
Committee went into Closed Executive Session.
Maglio/Belling made a motion to have the Village Board authorize and direct the Village
Administrator and Village Attorney or Assistant Village Attorney to continue negotiations with
Ray Stadler Construction Company, Inc. and interested parties to finalize a settlement of the
claims relating to the construction of Well #6 Pumping Station, subject to the terms, conditions,
and parameters discussed in the closed session meeting of the Village Finance Committee held
on this date, and to advise the Finance Committee and Village Board of the results of those
negotiations. Motion carried.
A previous recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the Village’s Vision-
Mission-Strategic Priorities for 2019.
Maglio/Belling made a motion to approve the Village’s Vision-Mission-Strategic Priorities for
2019. Motion carried.
A recommendation was made to the Village Board to approve the taser replacement from the
Police Department Non-Lapsing Reserve Fund.
Caban/Nowlen made a motion to approve the taser replacement from the Police Department
Non-Lapsing Reserve Fund. Motion carried.
Other Matters:
The Public Safety meeting will be Tuesday, November 6th at the Saukville Fire Department.
Please attend if you have any questions on the proposed fire truck purchase for 2019.
The Plan Commission meeting will be held at 5:30 on November 6th. The meeting will be held at
Saukville Village Hall at 5:30 p.m.
The Village of Saukville will be holding its Annual Business Forum on Tuesday, November 13th at
the Saukville Humane Society.
REPORTS OF SPECIAL COMMITTEES
Plan Commission
The next Plan Commission meeting will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
Community Development Authority/Industrial Review Committee
No report.
November 5, 2018
Library Board
Caban reported on the meeting of October 9, 2018.
Caban stated that the Library had a staff development day that included CPR training. All staff
members are now trained.
The Library has an AED on order.
Caban stated that November is “Food for Fines” at the Library.
Mid-Moraine Municipal Association
No report.
OPERATOR’S LICENSE APPROVALS
Fischer/Seitz made a motion to approve the Operator’s License Applications for Day for
Railroad Station, DeBarge for Kwik Trip, Ansay and Maldonado for d’Klein, and Marschke for Tri-
Par. Motion carried.
LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS
None.
CITIZEN MATTERS AS NOTICED
None.
ADJOURNMENT
Fischer/Maglio made a motion to adjourn to November 13, 2018. Motion carried at 7:33 p.m.
