***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** January 28, 2025 SAUKVILLE MUNICIPAL CENTER and VIA ZOOM 639 E. GREEN BAY AVE., SAUKVILLE, WI 53080 Village President Andy Hebein called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Julie Friede gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Andy Hebein-present, Jim Nowlen-present, William Rudolph-present, Jesse Duckart-present, Pamela Duckart-present, Wendy Smith-present and Brandon Ashley-absent. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Julie Friede and Chief Rob Meyer. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS None. APPROVE MINUTES OF JANUARY 7, 2025. Nowlen/Smith made a motion to approve minutes of January 7, 2025. Motion Carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Hebein invited the Village Board to attend the Ozaukee Central Fire Department (OCFD) Recognition Ceremony on March 20, 2025 at the Grafton High School. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR None. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS –PETITIONS Resolution 1418 – Approving the Assignment of a Portion of the Village’s Unassigned General Fund Balance J. Duckart/Nowlen made a motion to waive the reading of Resolution 1418 – Approving the Assignment of a Portion of the Village’s Unassigned General Fund Balance. Motion Carried. Smith/Rudolph made a motion to approve Resolution 1418 – Approving the Assignment of a Portion of the Village’s Unassigned General Fund Balance. Motion Carried. REPORTS OF VILLAGE BOARD COMMITTEES Utility Committee No Report. Public Works/Cemetery Committee No Report. Public Safety Committee Nowlen reported on the Meeting of January 28, 2025. Village of Saukville Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) J. Duckart/Nowlen made a motion to approve the Village of Saukville Emergency Operation Plan (EOP). Motion Carried. Finance Committee Hebein reported on the Meeting of January 28, 2025. Kapur – Planning & Development Consultant Agreement Smith/Nowlen made a motion to approve the Kapur – Planning & Development Consultant Agreement. Motion Carried. Village of Saukville Fire Station Lease Agreement – OCFD Nowlen/Smith made a motion to approve the Village of Saukville Fire Station Lease Agreement – OCFD. Motion Carried. Library Board Smith Reported on the Meeting of January 14, 2025 Mid-Moraine Municipal Association Rudolph Reported on the Meeting of January 8, 2025 and January 22, 2025.
