PUBLIC NOTICE Please be advised the hearing below previously advertised for Thursday, March 28, 2019, has been POSTPONED to Thursday, April 25, 2019. Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah, Georgia, will convene a public hearing to consider the adoption of the City of Savannah Zoning Ordinance, and the adoption of the Official Zoning Map of the City of Savannah, Georgia, on Thursday, March 28, 2019 Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Savannah City Hall located at 2 East Bay Street, Savannah, Georgia. The public hearing will be convened first to consider the adoption of policies and procedures which govern the calling and conducting of public hearings for zoning decisions; immediately thereafter a public hearing will be convened to consider the standards governing the exercise of the zoning power after which a public hearing will be immediately convened to consider the adoption of the City of Savannah Zoning Ordinance and the adoption of the Official Zoning Map of the City of Savannah, Georgia. The public is invited to attend and comment. Copies of the proposed zoning ordinance text and Official Zoning Map are available for public viewing at the Metropolitan Planning Commission, 110 East State Street during regular business hours. Anyone whose interest of property right may be affected by the proposed changes may appear at that time and be heard.
