PUBLIC NOTICE Special Called Meeting for the Purpose of a MOBILE WORKSHOP ON HOUSING INITIATIVES Public Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Aldermen/Alderwomen will hold a MOBILE WORKSHOP on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The bus leaves from and returns to the parking lot of the Civic Center. The Mobile Workshop will include discussions of the following: • Weather permitting, viewing the installation of a factory-built house being set on Pennsylvania Avenue at Savannah Gardens by CHSA Development and Dasher Construction Company. • 2020 housing partnership results with 20-year historical comparison. • Typical project types, costs and investment. • Importance of City and leveraged investment along with results. • Tax credit/bond projects north of 37th Street, east of Ogeechee Road, and west of the marshes. • Update on the status of the 1K-in-10 initiative including a drive through Midtown neighborhood. • Weather permitting, viewing the installation of a factory-built house being set on Pennsylvania Avenue at Savannah Gardens by CHSA Development and Dasher Construction Company.
