Notice of Special Meeting of the Hospital Authority of Savannah. A special meeting of the members of the Board of the Hospital Authority of Savannah (the “Hospital Authority”) will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the Curtis V. Cooper Primary Health Care facility at 106 East Broad Street, Savannah, Georgia, commencing at 3:00 p.m. until adjournment. The agenda for such meeting will include (i) to select one of the three nominees submitted by The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah (“City of Savannah”), to wit: Dr. Deanne Cross (reappointment), Darnell L. Johnson, and Joshua Moseler, as a member of the Hospital Authority to fill the expired term of Dr. Deanna Cross; (ii) to elect a Chair, a Vice Chair and a Secretary-Treasurer of the Hospital Authority; (iii) to make rules and regulations for the Hospital Authority’s governance; (iv) the consideration of a resolution which the City of Savannah has requested that the Hospital Authority consider and adopt whereby the City of Savannah will convey to the Hospital Authority certain property contiguous to the health care clinic (the “Clinic”) operated by Curtis V. Cooper Primary Health Care, Inc. (the “Clinic Operator”) at 106 East Broad Street, Savannah, Georgia, and the Hospital Authority will lease that property to the Clinic Operator for 40 years to assist with the Clinic’s parking needs; and (v) any such other matters as may properly be considered by the Hospital Authority.
