*****NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS***** INTENT TO OPT-OUT OF HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION (House Bill 581) The Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah intend to opt-out of the statewide adjusted base year ad valorem homestead exemption for the City of Savannah, Georgia. All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearing on this matter to be held at the SCCPSS Board of Education Room located at the Eli Whitney Administrative Complex, 2 Laura Avenue, Building G on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 10am. Times and places of additional public hearings on this matter are at the SCCPSS Board of Education Room located at the Eli Whitney Administrative Complex, 2 Laura Avenue, Building G on February 13, 2025 at 2pm and 6pm.
