Council Discussion Points: Speaking with my veterinarian, he asked me to bring up the discussion of possibly extending dog licenses for up to three years (the life of the rabi vaccination). We would offer three price options for renewals, one yr. ($13.50), two yr. ($25.00), and three ($35.00). This would certainly cut down on office time and expenses of sending out renewal notices every year. This is acceptable as listed in the NYS Agriculture & Market Laws, Article 7, Section 109(a). In addition, we would certainly have the ability to have more dogs licensed on a regular basis. The license would expire on the date of the rabi vaacination expiration.
