Evaluation/Analysis: Engineering drawings have been created and the project has been put out to bid. There were two bidders on the project, the low bidder has withdrawn their bid. It is recommended the contract be awarded to George J. Martin & Son of Rensselaer, NY in the amount of $177,596.00 ($187,596.00 minus a $10,000.00 credit for preliminary testing that has already been conducted). Recommendation: Authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with George J. Martin & Son for the 2017 Motor Protection Relay Upgrade Project in the amount of $177,596.00.
