Join by Phone: 1-415-655-0001 WebEx Access Code: 161 549 2006 Meeting Password: rQ4R43gAUir City Development & Planning 1 2020-2024 HUD Consolidated Plan Kristin Diotte 2 2020 Action Plan Kristin Diotte Tuesday, June 9, 2020  CITY OF SCHENECTADY LEGISLATIVE REQUEST FORM COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENT: DATE: June 1, 2020 TO: City Council FROM: Kristin Diotte, Director of Development SUBJECT: Adoption of 2020-2024 HUD Consolidated Plan & 2020-2021 HUD Annual Action Plan Background Information: The adoption of the "Proposed 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan" as the "Final 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Action Plan" will result in the City of Schenectady allocating $3,074,096.50 in funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from the CDBG, ESG, and HOME programs for housing, public service, economic development, neighborhood revitalization, public works, and administrative activities. Evaluation/Analysis: It is necessary to adopt the "2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan" in order to receive funding. A public hearing was held on May 27, 2020 at 5:30pm via Webex video conference. A thirty (30) day comment period was declared from May 5, 2020 through June 5, 2020. Recommendation: Adoption of the "2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan" by City Council on June 8, 2020. LEGISLATION WILL BE PREPARED BY_____LAW DEPARTMENT_________
