City of Schenectady Board of Zoning Appeals Meeting Minutes January 2, 2019 I. CALL TO ORDER Due to the absence of a quorum, Mr. Gleason did not call the meeting to order. II. ATTENDANCE PRESENT: James Gleason, Chair; David V. Connelly; Helene Lester; Avi Epstein, Zoning Officer; Jennifer Mills, Secretary EXCUSED: Brendan Keller; Krystina Smith ABSENT: Fred Clark; Mary D’Alessandro-Gilmore III. CONFLICT OF INTEREST CHECK None. IV. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES None. V. APPLICATIONS A. PAUL FALLATI requests an Area Variance for 220 Harborside Drive (39.42-1-21), located in the C-3 Waterfront Mixed Use Zoning District, to allow for 4 directional signs that are 16 SQFT each where 2 SQFT is allowed pursuant to §264-63(C) of the Zoning Code. Mr. Gleason explained to the applicants present that the Board would be unable to hear their application due to the unexpected absences of two Board Members and the subsequent absence of a quorum. He apologized for any inconvenience that this situation may have caused them. VI. MOTION TO ADJOURN Because the meeting was not called to order there was no motion to adjourn.
