OPENING Call to Order Council President Porter called the meeting to order at 7:48p.m.  It was motioned by Councilmember McCarthy and Seconded by Councilmember Sistrunk to begin the Closed Session. The motion carried. Roll Call Present: Councilmember Monica Higgs, Councilmember Hope Love, Councilmember Shireka McCarthy, Councilmember Kelly Porter, Councilmember Gerald Raynor, Sr., Councilmember Kizzie Scott, Councilmember Gloria Sistrunk Absent: None The City Council, Interim Chief Operating Officer, Interim Deputy Chief Operating Officer and City Clerk met in a Closed Session for the purpose General Provisions Art. § 3-305(b) (1) “To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals” The City Council, Interim Chief Operating Officer, Interim Deputy Chief Operating Officer and the City Clerk met in a Closed Session for the purpose of General Provisions Art. §3-305 (b) (8) “To consult with staff, consultants, or other individuals about pending or potential litigation”; The meeting was adjourned at 8:59p.m. The Closed Session was held at Seat Pleasant Police Department The Councilmember's who voted to Close the meeting: Higgs, Love, McCarthy, Porter, Raynor, Scott and Sistrunk Submitted by, Dashaun N.
