OPENING Call to Order Council President Porter called the meeting to order at 6:53p.m.  It was motioned by Councilmember Sistrunk and Seconded by Councilmember McCarthy to begin the Closed Session. The motion carried. Roll Call Present: Councilmember Monica Higgs, Councilmember Hope Love, Councilmember Shireka McCarthy, Councilmember Kelly Porter, Councilmember Gerald Raynor, Sr., Councilmember Kizzie Scott, Councilmember Gloria Sistrunk Absent: None The City Council, Interim Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Police/Interim Deputy Chief Operating Officer and City Clerk met in a Closed Session for the purpose General Provisions Art. § 3-305(b) (1) To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals and (8) “To consult with staff, consultants, or other individuals about pending or potential litigation” The meeting was adjourned at 8:35p.m. The Closed Session was held via Zoom Webinar The Councilmember's who voted to Close the meeting: Higgs, Love, McCarthy, Porter, Raynor, Scott and Sistrunk Submitted by, Dashaun N.
