OPENING Call to Order: Council Vice President Higgs called the meeting to order at 6:09p.m. Roll Call Present: Councilmember Monica Higgs, Councilmember Hope Love, Councilmember Kelly Porter, Councilmember Gerald Raynor, Sr., Councilmember Kizzie Scott, Councilmember Gloria Sistrunk Staff: Beverly Barber, Human Resources Manager, Dashaun Lanham, City Clerk, Stanley Mosley, Interim City Manager Request Motion to go into Closed Session under Statutory Authority "(1) To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals. It was motioned by Councilmember Love and seconded by Councilmember Raynor to go into the Closed Session. The City Council unanimously approved the motion. The City Council met in the Closed Session with Interim City Manager, Human Resources Manager, and the City Clerk to discuss the suspension of an employee. The meeting was adjourned at 7:05p.m. The Closed Session was held via Zoom Webinar.
