CITIZEN COMMENTS o Debra Riley, Ward V stated that she wanted to address concerns about the city's website not being user friendly. The prior website had hones that were historical to the city. o Mr. Harris stated that the Public Engagement team is working on complete overhaul, and that it will require a consultant, and we are looking forward to making recommendations. 3. Ordinance O-25-09 Amendment of Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget to amend Ordinance O-25-06 to Reflect the Cost Center for the funding. o Ordinance O-25-09 was introduced and read by the City Clerk on Monday, March 10, 2025. 5. REPORTS 5.1 Kelly Porter, Mayor Report:  Mayor Porter stated that his report can be viewed in BoardDocs for February 2025. 5.2 Council President Report- Council President Monica Higgs, Councilmember Ward I  Council President Higgs stated that the report was updated to include additional meetings.  Council President Higgs stated that she attended the Black History Programs, and meeting with 20743 Coalition, Pepco for Street Lights.  Councilmember McCarthy inquired if the attendance report comes from the Onboard system.  Mrs. Ball stated that the report does come from the OnBoard program. 5.3 Demetrious Harris, Interim City Manager  Mr. Harris stated that he is excited about the 6224 Foote Street project and looking for input from the Mayor and Council.  Mr. Harris stated that the Public Engagement Manager is looking at ways to promote the committee meetings.  Councilmember Jones inquired about the number of bedrooms the property has on Foote Street.  Councilmember McCarthy inquired about the Recruitment Fair for PGCMA requested to attend.  Mr. Harris stated that the Police Department will be leading the charge and setting up another department head.  Councilmember McCarthy stated that can all vacant position be advertised.  Mr. Harris stated that all positions will be listed that the city intends to fill. 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 7.1. 20743 Coalition MOU Approval Request o Councilmember Higgs stated that the MOU is requesting to be approved for one year with a renewal potential at the end of the year. o Councilmember McCarthy inquired about the funding allocated for two years from ARPA. o The request was for finance to look at the impact of the funding to be allocated to the city's budget. o Mr. Harris stated the funding for the coalition and the ARPA funds was allocated to revenue replenishment. o Approval of MOU for 20743 Coalition o Motion by Shireka McCarthy, second by Gerald Raynor Sr. o Final Resolution: Motion Carried o Yes: Monica Higgs, Hope Love, Gerald Raynor Sr, Shireka McCarthy, Ashley Kearney, Garry A Jones o Abstain: Kizzie Scott 8.
