City Council Retreat: The Council conducted the Council retreat, received a presentation and conducted the workshop and was in consensus to conduct a follow up retreat/goals meeting. Mayor Slayter opened for public comment. Kyle Falbo commented as follows: • I didn't have anything planned to say, but I do really want to just thank you all for going through this process. • I think it's really important to be able to communicate out to the public who our elected officials are. • I think it takes a lot of strength and a lot of vulnerability to share a DiSC profile. • It's great to hear that and I hope that in the future we can hear more about who our elected officials are in particular. • I think about you often and hearing about who you are as human beings is very, very important and if I could give you any sort of guidance for inspiration on collaborative team-building, I've become very enthralled with the Emeryville City Council and I encourage you to look into them a little bit, see how they function, operate and collaborate and work together and their presence on social media is phenomenal as well. Mayor Slayter thanked the consultant and staff for this retreat. City Council Action: None Required. Consensus to conduct a follow up meeting.
