City of Shady Cove Executive Session and Special Meeting Notice and Agenda October 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. Executive Session: Shady Cove Public Library, 22477 Highway 62, Shady Cove, Oregon 97539 If a special meeting is held, it will be at 4:30 p.m. Special Session: Shady Cove City Hall, 22451 Highway 62, Shady Cove, Oregon 97539 1. Call to Order 2. Establish Quorum 3. Executive Session – ORS 192.660(2)(i) The council will meet in executive session under ORS 192.660(2)(i) – to review and evaluate the employment-related performance of the chief executive officer of any public body, a public officer, employee, or staff member who does not request an open hearing. 4. Executive Session – ORS 192.660(2)(f) The council will meet in executive session under ORS 192.660(2)(f) – to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection. 5. Special Meeting At the conclusion of the above-referenced executive sessions, the council may hold a special meeting if the council desires to take any final action resulting from or arising out of matters discussed during the executive sessions. If a special meeting is held, the special meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. to discuss or consider city personnel matters. 6. Adjourn Pursuant to ORS 192.640, this notice includes a list of the principal subjects anticipated to be considered or discussed at the above-referenced meeting. This notice does not limit the ability of the council to consider or discuss additional subjects. This meeting is subject to cancellation without notice. The public will not be permitted to attend the executive sessions; provided, however, representatives of the news media and designated staff will be allowed to attend the executive sessions. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any deliberations conducted during the executive sessions, except to state the general subject of the executive sessions as previously announced. No decision will be made in the executive sessions. If held, the special meeting is open to the public and interested citizens are invited to attend. The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. A request for an interpreter for the hearing impaired or for other accommodations for persons with disabilities should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling City Hall (541-878-2225).
