Council Minutes April 16, 2024 Via Zoom Pursuant to Chapters 113 and 115 of the Codified Ordinances, and Resolution No. 22-29, enacted March 22, 2022. The Council of the City of Shaker Heights met in a special meeting at 12:01 p.m., Mayor David E. Weiss presiding. Council Members Present: Mrs. Moore Mr. Roeder Ms. Anne Williams Ms. Carmella Williams Ms. Bixenstine Mr. Claytor Mr. Malone Council Members Absent: None * * * * Video of this meeting may be found here through April 16, 2027. * * * * Motion for Liquor Permit Boaz Café LLC 20630 John Carroll Blvd. Law Director William Ondrey Gruber stated that this is a new liquor permit application. We just received this recently, but was informed that Boaz has completed all of its other approvals and that this is the last step in the approval process for its liquor permit so we did not want to delay it. There were no objections from any of the relevant City departments. No objections were voiced by Council. * * * * At 12:05 p.m. it was moved by Mr. Claytor, and seconded by Ms. Carmella Williams that Council go into an executive session to discuss the purchase, sale or the development of real property where premature disclosure of information would give an unfair competitive or bargaining advantage to a person, or otherwise adversely affect the general public interest; and imminent or pending litigation.  Roll Call: Ayes: Mrs. Moore, Mr. Roeder, Ms. Anne Williams, Ms. Carmella Williams, Ms. Bixenstine, Mr. Claytor, Mr. Malone Nays: None Motion Carried * * * * There being no further business before Council, the Mayor adjourned the meeting at 1:05 p.m. _________________________________________ DAVID E.
