Sharon Hill Borough Caucus Meeting Minutes Thursday, January 13, 2022 Call To Order/Pledge of Allegiance, 7:15pm Roll Call: Present, Council President Tanya Allen (TA), Vice President Keith Martinez (KM), Councilors, Sharon Booker (SB), William Felder (WF), Rodney Hill (RH), Sandra Holcombe (SH), Borough Manager Barbarann Keffer (BA) excused; Mayor Hykeem Green (HG), Office Coordinator Celandra Rice-Adeloye (CRA) Police Chief Herron; Solicitor Courtney Richardson (CR) Council President Tanya Allen stated that council met in Executive Session earlier at 6:00 pm to discuss legal matters. Public Comment: Donna Hunter, 1026 Coates St – Voiced disapproval of the new SH Council Meeting Comment Cards; Patricia Rumaker, 335 Greenwood Rd – Offered congratulations to new council members and voiced concerns about newly appointed council nominees; John Ramano, SHFD – Offered friendly reminder for upcoming COVID clinic at firehouse; Gerald Turner, 200 Laurel Rd – inquired about the status of street sweeper and had concerns about the new comment cards; Carolyn Garrett, 114 Reese St – inquired about the 2022 calendar, trash schedule, and requested more patrol by code enforcement. Dyamond Gibbs, 39 Chatham Rd, Upper Darby – questioned why council was unable to make a public statement on the Fanta Bility case. Nomination and Appointment to fill vacant council seat: Fayetta Acosta (FA) received 3 votes – RH / SB / WF Edward Booker (EB) received 4 votes – KM / SH / TA / HG EB is the newly appointed council member. Organization of council committees – Council President TA assigns council members to committees Recreation Committee: RH Municipal Services: WF Public Safety: KM 1|Page Community Engagement: RH Parks and Property: SH SHAAC: SB Library Liaison and Finance: TA; introduction of new Library Director, Richard Ashby Jr. Action Items: Police Chief Herron provided a brief description of Ordinance 1405. Motion to advertise Ordinance 1405, amending the Nuisance Resident/Police Complaints Ordinance, 200-5: SB/WF, 6-0, motion carries. Solicitor CR provided a brief description of Ordinance 1404 prior to voting. Motion to advertise Ordinance 1404, amending Zoning Hearing Board membership requirement from five to three members: TA/SB, 6-0, motion carries. Adjournment: 8:48pm 2|Page
