She wrote a book. o The summer meal program starts on April 30. o CPCIP: President Allen: No report. Vice President Edward Booker: Public Safety/ DCJA o The monthly Fire Chief Report was read and submitted. Junior Council Report: - No report. Councilor Sharon Booker: SHACC – No report. Councilor William Felder: Public Works o Councilor Felder attended a meeting regarding Septa who is in the process of making major cuts to their services. It was suggested that residents of various boroughs should write letters or call their representatives to encourage them to approve a budget for Septa. o A blood drive is coming to SHB in partnership with Darby Township and Folcroft Borough on June 5 from 12-5pm at the Darby Township Community Building. Councilor Rodney Hill: Recreation o We are getting ready for the Jalen Duren camp for both boys and girls. The camp will be starting soon and will go through 8/23/25, from 11:00-2:00 p.m. We will be sending out the registration time for the community as soon as possible. o I will be the Vice President of the Ramblers Board and will be collaborating with Mayor Green to ensure that Sharon Hill has sports all year round. o Thank you to all sponsors who helped to sponsor the Easter event. Councilor Sandra Holcombe: Public Health Page | 1 o No report. Councilor James Patrick, III: Personnel – No Report. • Officials’ Updates: Mayor, Hykeem Green – No report - The Police report was read and submitted. Borough Solicitor, Kyle Miller, Kilkenny Law - Resolution 2025-12 – Introduction of Delco Vision Zero Resolution. – The Resolution was read and reviewed by Solicitor Miller. He gave an introduction and discussed resources and connections to identify problem areas to protect residents when they travel without a vehicle. - Regarding residents on Bartlett, the Solicitor advised that he is continuing to review the possibility of an ordinance to enforce the upkeep of properties in the borough. - Continuing to monitor the fire code and will stay ahead should the borough want to adopt. - Have been reviewing the nuisance properties ordinance from 2021 regarding rental properties and landlords to see if there is anything useful to help with this situation. - Continuing to review options and alternatives regarding the issue of stray cats and dogs. Borough Engineer, Susan Lynch, Lighthouse Engineering - The Engineer reported that she is continuing to review the assessment received from the Engineer for the Starbucks development project. - Continuing to work on the bus shelter project. The deadline is June 30th. - Continuing to work on the alleyways project. Police Chief, Richard Herron – No report. Treasurer, Will Morgan – Reviewed Treasurers Report and Bills List. Answered inquiries from Council regarding bills and payments. Borough Manager, Ieasa A. Nichols - In response to the closing of Crozer health systems, we are collaborating with the police and fire chiefs, and we will have a plan for a response to the situation. The Chiefs are working very diligently to secure a Page | 2  new fleet, and we will be acquiring a number of cars. Another thing we are looking into is RVs which will enable us to respond immediately to get to a hospital. - We will be having another volunteer audit. The last one was in 2021 and 2025 is now due. We will be sharing any information with the solicitor to ensure the borough is compliant with the State. - We met with Delcora last week regarding the sanitary sewer project. The Borough Manager reported she was not in attendance but she was informed that Delcora received sanctions and have started a program to address the sewer concerns. The work will be done by MOR contractors and they will be starting work on Elmwood Avenue. The borough will be putting a notice on our website. - Working on and going through the liquid fuels process for the auditor general’s office and there will be another auditor on site. - Weiderwax capital project contractor was finalized and we are waiting to get an update on materials. - Resubmitted our building proposal with Representative Scanlon and it was approved through Senator Fetterman for 1.2MM. As mentioned previously, we were invited to resubmit our application to Mary Kay Scanlon’s office which we did. - Regarding the resident who contacted us about timers and traffic on our state highways, we reached out to the contractor and found that we have several bad loops. Every traffic signal. We are waiting on them to send an estimate for replacement. We do intend to go with the camera project as they are less susceptible to damage. Hopefully, we will have a council review next month. . Public Comment – Janet Holmes, Victoria Quinones, Sheila Carter - Janet Holmes - Reported that Senior citizens and groups come to share and discuss things. - Home care services should be able to come out to the homes to make sure the senior citizens are o.k. - Questioned the residence of President Allen. - Victoria Quinones announced that her neighbor had a fire and the house has been abandoned and now her home is infested with raccoons. Reported that she has been complaining and reaching out to the borough and that the Borough Manager was made aware of the situation. - Sheila Carter – Reported that she was a homeowner and wanted to follow-up on the questions asked by Ms. Holmes, regarding President Allen’s residency. Inquired about the proper procedure and protocol for Council to investigate residency and have President Allen removed. V.P. Booker and the Solicitor advised that they could not comment on any specifics about anyone. Ms. Carter continued to inquire and citing the PA Borough Code. The Solicitor addressed her concerns acknowledging that there are several factors to consider. Ms. Carter asked if the Solicitor would open a case regarding 2 council people who do not live in the Borough. Requesting that they present their drivers licenses. Comment was also address by Councilmen Felder and Councilor Hill. - - Adjournment – Meeting was adjourned by V.P.
