May 6, 2024 Sharpsville Borough Council held a Workshop on Monday, May 6, 2024 in Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 1 South Walnut Street, Sharpsville, PA. Attending the meeting for Council was: Len Grandy, Nick Hanahan, Patty Cardwell, and Bob Piccirilli. Also attending the meeting was: Solicitor John Alfredo; Borough Engineer Matt Harper; Police Chief Frank Joseph; Borough Manager/Secretary Ken Robertson; and David Dye. A general discussion was held with Police Chief Frank Joseph concerning the following: 1) Vacation & policy issues 2) Cruiser - transmission 3) Report writing system 4) Call volume 5) Department meeting 6) Councilwoman Cardwell – cross traffic doesn’t stop A general discussion was held with Engineer Matt Harper concerning the following: 1) May 2024 Engineer Report 2) Waterline Improvement Project – completion in July 3) East High Street – North Mercer Avenue Project 4) Sanitary Mapping 5) Equipment Garage at Maintenance Building 6) Survey – Kelly Road property 7) Pierce Avenue ADA Ramps – Phase 2 8) 2024 Paving Project A general discussion was held with Borough Manager/Secretary Ken Robertson concerning the following: 1) General Department Report 2) 11 Supplemental Agenda Items Council was in Executive Session until 7:58 p.m. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. _______________________________________________
