WHEREAS, this Resolution appropriates the necessary funds for the operation and
administration of the City of Shawano for the year 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Shawano
that:
1. There is hereby appropriated out of the receipts of the City of Shawano for the year
2024, including monies received from the general property tax levy to the various purposes set up on
the budget approved by Council on November 20, 2024, and attached herewith the purpose therein
stated.
2. There is hereby levied against all taxable property of the City of Shawano, Wisconsin,
a total tax levy of $15,617,889. This is a direct tax for:
City of Shawano $6,107,916
Shawano School District $4,378,875
Northeast Wisconsin Technical College $395,216
Shawano County $2,779,587
The State of Wisconsin $0.00
Tax Increment Finance District #04 $188,708
Tax Increment Finance District #05 $0
Tax Increment Finance District #06 $227,098
Tax Increment Finance District #07 $1,390,676
Tax Increment Finance District #08 $149,813

3. The City Clerk and Finance Director are hereby authorized and directed to spread the
said tax upon the current tax roll of the City of Shawano.

RESOLUTION NO. 97-24

WHEREAS, the City of Shawano Redevelopment Authority is the current owner of 116 W
Division Street, Shawano; and
WHEREAS, per a 2021 Development Agreement between the City of Shawano
Redevelopment Authority and United Development, LLP the city is responsible for the demolition and
clearing of the property to create a developable site once the residential and retail portions were vacant; and
WHEREAS, as the property is now vacant, the city requested bids for the demolition of the
property; and
WHEREAS, a summary of said bids is attached for reference; and
WHEREAS, the lowest bid was provided by Jendra Trucking, Inc in the amount of $19,499;
and
WHEREAS, necessary funding for this project will be provided by TID 9 monies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Shawano that the bid for the demolition of 116 W Division Street, Shawano be awarded to Jendra Trucking,
Inc. in the amount of $19,499, with all project costs, including tipping fees and other property remediation
costs being provided by TID 9 monies.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator, Public Works Director, and
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute necessary contracts for the above project.
