Sawyer Street, Shawano City Hall, Shawano, WI 54166 CALL TO ORDER • The meeting was called to order by Kerber at 7:00 AM. ROLL CALL • Members present: Dave Kerber, Scott Nordin, Mark Bolin, Curt Preston, Rhonda Strebel, Chuck Felts, Charlie Harvey and Todd Doberstein • Absent: Jim Meyer and Sandra Steinke • Others present: Peter Thillman, Dave Moesch, Lesley Nemetz and Bruce Milavitz REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES • Minutes approved: October 19, 2023. Motion by Milavitz, 2nd by Preston, MC COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS • Nemetz said Main Street would host Small Business Saturday on November 25th. The Holly Jolly Trolley would be here all day with stops up and down Main Street. The Tree Lighting ceremony would be in Franklin Park that evening. The Santa Parade will be held on December 1st. UPDATE ON FINANCIAL STATUS OF TID'S • Nemetz provided spreadsheets with cash positions and projections for all TIDs along with a map of the boundaries for discussion. All TIDs are in good financial condition. REVIEW KOLBY SUBDIVISION COVENANTS • Kerber had forwarded proposed Covenants and Restrictions for Woodland Trails for review prior to the meeting. During discussion the following suggestions were made:  Item 8 – Construction Completion. Given the current construction climate 1-yr for project completion is probably not enough.  It was suggested to require completion of lawns in a timely manner.  Item 6 – Dwelling sizes. Could consider increasing the minimum size for one story to 1,800 SF and two story to 1,500 SF.  Item 7 – Exterior Design. Should consider revising minimum roof pitch to 5/12. Also, the requirement for masonry exteriors could be modified or removed as there are many other good options for exterior finishes. UPDATE ON CITY ACTIVITY • Moesch reported meeting with persons interested in opening a new restaurant on E. Green Bay Street. He also said talks on the former Muehl’s property continue. Kerber reported that RDA met and discussed moving forward with properties on their priority list. They had been holding off to see if taxes were paid. They will be moving forward with legal actions. Properties include the former Subway, the building next to Hunan and former Erickson Auto Plaza. UPDATE ON SCEPI ACTIVITY • Thillman reported that the entity interested in the former Pic ‘N Save is still moving forward with plans. He also said part of the former Reinhart facility is still available. The Wolf River Dental group is taking their proposal to the Plan Commission. Thillman also reported that the County is completing a fiber loop in the western part of the County to enhance broadband services.
