Sawyer Street, Shawano City Hall, Shawano, WI 54166 CALL TO ORDER • The meeting was called to order by Kerber at 7:00 AM. ROLL CALL • Members present: Dave Kerber, Scott Nordin, Jim Meyer, Curt Preston, Rhonda Strebel, Chuck Felts, and Todd Doberstein • Absent: Charlie Harvey, Mark Bolin and Sandra Steinke • Others present: Bruce Milavitz, Eddie Sheppard, Peter Thillman, Lesley Nemetz, Dave Moesch and Bruce Gomm REVIEW OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES NOVEMBER 16, 2023 • November 16, 2023 with correction (Item 6 minimum size for 2-story corrected to 2,500 SF). Motion by Felts, 2nd by Strebel, MC. COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS • None. FOLLOW UP ON CUSTOM CABINETS DOCUMENTS • Kerber stated that the Custom Cabinets documents would have to be revised to show a name change as there is an additional member to the owner’s group. The name of the owner should be “Stone Creations LLC”. Motion by Felts to change name to Stone Creations LLC, 2nd by Preston, MC. CLOSED SESSION Kerber requested a motion to go into Closed Session per Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85 (1)(e) Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. Motion to go into closed session by Doberstein, 2nd by Strebel, MC. OPEN SESSION Motion by Doberstein to return to Open Session per WisconsinStatutes Section 19.85(2) to take action on Closed Session items, 2nd by Meyer, MC. No action taken on Closed Session items. UPDATE ON CITY ACTIVTY • Sheppard reported that the prospective tenant for the former Pick ‘N Save is in holding. Gomm reported that the former Radio Shack building has been demolished. He said that construction on the new SMU complex is on schedule and going well. They hope to move in around the end of August. UPDATE ON SCEPI ACTIVITY • None.
