CITY OF SHEBOYGAN BOARD OF WATERWORKS COMMISSIONERS MINUTES Monday, August 03, 2026 OPENING OF MEETING The meeting was convened at 3:03 PM by Secretary Howe. Present: Secretary Tom Howe, Member Rich Dale. Superintendent Joe Trueblood 1. Pledge of Allegiance All present honored the flag of the United States of America. 2. A Moment of Silence in honor of Gerald Van De Kreeke, deceased President of the Board of Water Commissioners, who joined the Board on April 24, 1980, and convened his final meeting on July 8, 2026, serving for just over 46 years. All present honored the legacy and memory of former President Van De Kreeke. MINUTES 3. Approval of Minutes: Commissioner Dale made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Howe, to approve the minutes of the July 8, 2026 Board meeting. Motion passed unanimously. REPORTS 4. Financial reports and approval of vouchers No reports presented. 5. Superintendent's report including operations, construction-maintenance, and customer relations/fiscal No report presented. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION 6. Election of Officers Commissioner Dale made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Howe, nominating Commissioner Howe as the Board president. Commissioner Howe made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Dale, nominating Commissioner Dale as Secretary. There were no additional motions. Both nomination motions passed unanimously, and Commissioner Howe was confirmed as the new Board President and Commissioner Dale was confirmed as the new Board Secretary. PERSONNEL NEXT MEETING DATE 7. Next scheduled meeting: August 17, 2026 at 3:30 PM. ADJOURN 8. Motion to Adjourn Commissioner Dale made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Howe, to adjourn at 3:30 PM. Motion passed unanimously.
