Approval of Minutes a. February 24th, 2026 Meeting Minutes Motion was made to approve. Motion made by Kauffman, Seconded by Hintz. Voting Yea: Kauffman, Norby, Hintz, Rasmussen 2. New Properties Clerk/Treasurer Chamberlin stated the Nuisance Code update passed second reading at the April 20th, 2026 City Council meeting and will be in effect May 20th. She stated the purpose for having these properties in front of the Nuisance Committee is to give Compliance Officer Schroeder authorization to notice them under the new codes after they are in effect, which will be before the next Nuisance Committee meeting. a. Bargain Garage: 1440 South Central Avenue, Sidney, MT 59270 Compliance Officer Schroeder presented the Bargain Garage inspection report and updated pictures. This property has been on the Nuisance Property list since March of 2025. She stated there was an attempt to clean up last year, but not enough to qualify for removal off the list. Motion was made to notice the Bargain Garage at 1440 South Central Avenue under the new Nuisance Code. Motion made by Kauffman, Seconded by Rasmussen. Voting Yea: Kauffman, Norby, Hintz, Rasmussen b. Crowe: 709 5th Street SE, Sidney, MT 59270 Nuisance Committee Meeting 4/28/26 April 28, 2026 Page 1 of 3  Compliance Officer Schroeder presented the Crowe inspection report and updated pictures. This property has been on the Nuisance Property list since September of 2025. She stated there has not been cleanup attempted enough qualify for removal off the list. Motion was made to notice the Crowe property at 709 5th St SE under the new Nuisance Code. Motion made by Rasmussen, Seconded by Kauffman. Voting Yea: Kauffman, Norby, Hintz, Rasmussen c. Wilson: 710 3rd Street SE, Sidney, MT 59270 Compliance Officer Schroeder presented the Crowe inspection report and updated pictures. This property has been on the Nuisance Property list since September of 2025. She stated there has not been cleanup attempted enough qualify for removal off the list. Motion was made to notice the Crowe property at 709 5th St SE under the new Nuisance Code. In discussion it was established that notices will be sent to the property owner, their attorney, Beagle Properties and posted on the property. Motion made by Rasmussen, Seconded by Kauffman. Voting Yea: Kauffman, Norby, Hintz, Rasmussen d. Giddens: 411 6th Street SE, Sidney, MT 59270 Compliance Officer Schroeder presented the Giddens inspection report and updated pictures. This property was on the Nuisance Property list in March 2024 and it was remediated sufficiently to be removed. She stated since then the property has declined and now qualifies to be added back to the list. Motion was made to notice the Giddens property at 411 6th St SE under the new Nuisance Code. Motion made by Rasmussen, Seconded by Hintz. Voting Yea: Kauffman, Norby, Hintz, Rasmussen e. Compliance Officer Update Compliance Officer Schroeder provided her March 2026 Compliance Report, noting she has added information about properties she sent warning letters to for starting to qualify to be Nuisance properties, she has sent 5 and one has cleaned up their property. She stated they are working on getting more than one contractor for the nuisance properties and are pursuing a staff member with dedicated time for the compliance mowing. 3.
