ADMINISTRATOR IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SUBMITTAL
OF AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING TROUGH THE TEXAS
GENERAL LAND OFFICE, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT-MITIGATION (CDBG-MIT) – HMGP
SUPPLEMENTAL GRANT PROJECT. (City Manager)
2. Discussion and Possible Action on Approving an Application for a Tax
Refund in the amount of $7,504.97 from Mike Bruce Family Ranch LP.,
due to a reduction in value per HCAD. (City Manager)
3. Discussion and Possible Action on Resolution No. 21-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SILSBEE (the “City Council”), AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO INSTALLATION CONTRACT,
CONTRACT NO. 40P-C20-2828, AMENDING THE INSTALLATION
CONTRACT ENTERED INTO ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2019,
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SILSBEE, TEXAS AND PERFORMANCE
SERVICES OF TEXAS, INC. (“PSI”), PENDING APPROVAL OF
THE CITY ATTORNEY. (City Manager)
4. Discussion and Possible Action on offer to donate the Gazebo Property
Downtown to the City of Silsbee. (City Manager)
5. Discussion and Possible Action on request from Friends of the Library
to allow the road closure from Ave. H at 5th Street to 3rd Street beside the
Feed Store and from 4th Street at the Railroad Tracks to Ave. G on May
15, 2021 from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for the 4th Annual Spring in the
Big Thicket Festival. (Librarian/Pam Hart)
6. Discussion and Possible Action on request from Silsbee Visitors Center
to allow the road closure from Ave. H at 5th Street to 3rd Street beside the
Feed Store and from 4th Street at the Railroad Tracks to Ave. G on May
15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. for the Spring Fling Dance to

7. Discussion and Possible Action on Resolution No. 21-11

PETITIONS FROM RESIDENTIAL AND BUSINESS CUSTOMERS
FOR RELIEF FROM COSTS OF EXCESSIVE WATER USE CAUSED

8. Discussion and Possible Action on Ordinance No. 21-05
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SILSBEE, TEXAS SUSPENDING
THE RATES PROPOSED BY CENTERPOINT ENERGY RESOURCES
CORP., d/b/a CENTERPOINT ENERGY ENTEX AND CENTERPOINT
ENERGY TEXAS GAS (“CENTERPOINT” OR “COMPANY”)
COMPANY’S GAS RELIABILITY INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM
(“GRIP”) FILING MADE WITH THE CITY ON MARCH 4, 2021;
FINDING THAT THE MEETING COMPLIES WITH THE OPEN

9. Discussion and Possible Action on the request to broadcast the City

10. Discussion and Possible Action on the removal, remediation, and
demolition of dangerous structures within the City of Silsbee and possible
incentives to allow citizens to remediate dangerous structures.

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE FY 2020-

OF A REQUEST FOR PROPORALS (“RFP”) BY THE CITY OF
SILSBEE, TEXAS (the “City”) FROM ELIGIBLE FINANCIAL
SERVICES INSTITUTIONS TO BE THE CITY’S BANKING
DEPOSITORY. (City Attorney)
14. Discussion and Possible Action on Resolution No. 21-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SILSBEE (the “City Council”), TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXPLORE THE TERMINATION OF THE
DEPOSITORY AGREEMENT WITH WELLS FARGO AND
TERNINATE SAID AGREEMENT IF FEASIBLE. (City Attorney)

Volume 1, Page 242, map and plat records, Hardin County, Texas.
