Discussion and Possible Action on Resolution No. 25-01 A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR AN GENERAL/SPECIAL ELECTION AND PROVIDING PROCEDURES FOR CANDIDATES TO FILE FOR ELECTION TO BE HELD BY THE CITY OF SILSBEE, TEXAS ON MAY 3, 2025 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING THE FOLLOWING: COUNCIL MEMBER AT-LARGE, PLACE II, COUNCIL MEMBER DISTRICT A (ONE YEAR UNEXPIRED TERM), COUNCIL MEMBER DISTRICT C, COUNCIL MEMBER DISTRICT D, AND A MAYOR, PROVIDING FOR PLACE AND MANNER OF HOLDING SAID ELECTION. Discussion and Possible Action on Resolution No. 25-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SILSBEE, TEXAS, APPROVING A JOINT ELECTION AGREMENT BETWEEN THE SILSBEE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF SILSBEE, TEXAS AND DESIGNATING AN AUTHORIZED SIGNATORY FOR THAT AGREEMENT. Discussion and Possible Action on Ordinance No. 25-03 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SILSBEE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION WITH OTHER ENTERGY SERVICE AREA CITIES IN MATTERS CONCERNING ENTERGY TEXAS, INC. AT THE PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION OF TEXAS IN 2025; AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF LAWYERS AND RATE EXPERTS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY’S PARTICIPATION TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AT THE PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION OF TEXAS; FINDING THAT THE MEETING COMPLIES WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
