CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS SIOUX CITY, IOWA MARCH 25, 2024
A Closed Session of the City Council was held on March 25, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. The following
Council Members were present on call of the roll: Moore, O’Kane, Scott, and Watters. Absent:
Schoenherr.
Staff members present: Robert K. Padmore, City Manager, Nicole M. DuBois, City Attorney, and
Heidi Farrens, City Clerk.
Motion by Scott, seconded by Moore, that Council enter closed session to discuss strategy
with Counsel in matters where litigation is imminent and its disclosure would be likely to
prejudice or disadvantage the position of the City in that litigation, all voting aye.
Motion by Scott, seconded by Moore, that Council return to open session at 3:55 p.m., all
voting aye.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:55 p.m., on motion by
Scott, seconded by Moore, all voting aye.

You are hereby notified a Closed Session of the City Council of the City of Sioux City, Iowa, will
be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, 3:30 p.m., local time, in the Council Chambers, 5th Floor,
City Hall, 405 6th Street, Sioux City, Iowa, for the purpose of discussing items of concern to the
City Council of the City of Sioux City and matters to be brought to the attention of the City Council
by the City Manager and staff, and those items meet the requirements for closed session. Times
listed are approximate and matters may be discussed before or after the times shown.
