WHEREAS, the City of Sioux Falls has declared surplus a 2008 fingerprint machine which
includes the printer that prints the fingerprint cards; and
WHEREAS, the Sioux Falls School District finds it desirable to acquire the above-described
surplus property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SIOUX FALLS, SD:
That the gifting by the City of Sioux Falls to the Sioux Falls School District of the following

RESOLUTION NO. 10-14
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2014–2018 CAPITAL PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SIOUX FALLS, SD.
That the 2014–2018 Capital Program shall be amended as follows:
Public Works—Engineering
Amend Capital Improvements Program Project No. 11006, Arterial Street Improvements, by
increasing the amount of funding for Arterial Street Platting Fees by $349,615 and Water
Platting Fees by $248,660 in 2014. The additional funding for Street Platting Fees will require an
increase in appropriations that will be funded by platting fees collected.
Amend Capital Improvements Program Project No. 11054, Big Sioux River Flood Control, by
increasing the amount of funding by $4,275,000 in 2014 for engineering and construction of
flood control structures. The additional funding will require an increase in appropriation that will
be funded by the remaining balance in the flood control bonds: $1,025,000; and unobligated fund
balance within the Flood Control Fund: $3,250,000.
Entertainment Venues—Events Center
Amend Capital Improvements Program Project No. 13008, Events Center, by increasing the
amount of funding for construction by $2,000,000 in 2014. The additional funding will require
an increase in appropriations that will be funded by a donation from Sanford.
