A communication was received from Siouxland Heritage Museums requesting permission to consume, but not sell, wine and/or malt beverages at the Old Courthouse Museum, 200 W. 6th Street, on Thursday, April 23, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM for an exhibit opening reception pursuant to SDCL 35-1-5.3. 4. PUBLIC INPUT Dan Fritz spoke regarding MED-Star Paramedic Ambulance Service and an appeal filed regarding the recent RFP process for a contract. Jay Masur spoke regarding the RFP and contract process for the city's ambulance service. Darin McDonnel spoke regarding dumpster enclosures for his small business and proposed city ordinance changes. Bobby Dean Tate, a member of the South Dakota African American History Museum, spoke about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy. He also thanked the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Sciences and everyone here for their participation in the recent celebratory events in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Council Member Kermit L. Staggers left the meeting at this time. 18. New 2015 Package Liquor License for Holiday Stationstores, Inc., Holiday Stationstore #304, to be operated at 5000 North Cliff Avenue. 19. Special One-Day Malt Beverage and Special One-Day Wine Licenses for Catering America Inc., Chef Dominique’s Catering, to be operated at Avera Long Term Care Pharmacy, 3820 North Potsdam Avenue, for a ribbon cutting on January 29, 2015. A motion was made by Council Member Dean Karsky and seconded by Council Member Rex Rolfing to approve.
