Cathy Brechtelsbauer spoke about Item 22 and expressed concern about a possible fare
increase.
Tim Stanga spoke about Item 22 and expressed opposition to an increase in fares.
Sierra Broussard spoke about the homeless, hotel/motel safety, the recent homicide, and
expressed support for an increase in fares (re: Item 22).
Scott Ehrisman spoke about his lack of support for fare increases (re: Item 22) as well as
government transparency and accountability.
David Zokaites spoke about law enforcement.

SOUTH DAKOTA.

RESOLUTION NO. 11-16
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RELEASE OF THE PERMANENT DRAINAGEWAY
EASEMENT LOCATED IN BLOCK 9, NORTH RIDGE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
SIOUX FALLS, MINNEHAHA COUNTY, SOUTH DAKOTA.
WHEREAS, the City of Sioux Falls, SD, no longer needs the permanent drainageway easement
area across the above-described real property, as shown on Exhibit A. Signed approvals from all
public and private utilities are on file with the office of the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the permanent drainageway easement area boundaries were established by Book
265 of Miscellaneous on Page 988 and recorded on Block 9, North Ridge Addition to the City of
Sioux Falls and filed for record in the office of the Register of Deeds for Minnehaha County, SD,
on September 16, 2010;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SIOUX FALLS, SD:
That it approves the release of the permanent drainageway easement area, as shown on attached
Exhibit A, and affecting the real property described as Block 9, North Ridge Addition to the City
of Sioux Falls, Minnehaha County, SD, and that the City Clerk shall cause to be recorded with
the Register of Deeds, Minnehaha County, SD, a duly certified transcript of this resolution.
