PUBLIC INPUT Thor Bardon spoke about his recent positive experiences at Falls Community Health. Catherine Riffle spoke about homelessness in Sioux Falls. Janet Brekke spoke about an Executive Order regarding confidentiality and about the location of administrative city records. Bruce Danielson spoke about transparency in city government, earthquakes, train derailments and safety concerns for the city of Sioux Falls. Scott Ehrisman spoke about the sound of train whistles in the downtown area; the impact on his sleep; and the longevity of city buildings. Sierra Broussard spoke about crime activity in Sioux Falls. Mayor Huether passed the gavel to Council Chair Rick Kiley. A motion was made by Council Member Theresa Stehly to ask for a Council vote on whether or not the Mayor can speak. Motion died for lack of a second. A motion was made by Council Member Rex Rolfing for a recess. The meeting continued. Council Chair Rick Kiley returned the gavel to Mayor Huether. Steven Siano spoke about public awareness, his experiences with mental health assistance in Sioux Falls, and the need for oversite on the part of the City Council.  Tim Stanga spoke about blocked calls; citizens knowing more than city departments; the potholes in the roads; and the upcoming election. David Zokaites spoke about the national and local political process.
