A request was made by Council Member Brekke to add the following ongoing objection to the minutes: An ongoing objection to the instruction that prohibits people from commenting on what happens at the meeting (at the close of the meeting, during the Public Input portion of the meeting) because she believes it is a violation of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution – it’s a content-based prior restraint and that it violates our First Amendment. Council Member Brekke concluded by stating, adding this to the records is pursuant to Code of Ordinance Section 30.021 "Members' Objections To Council Action Entered Into The Minutes.” PETITIONS 37.
