RESOLUTION NO. 20-25 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AMENDING THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SIOUX FALLS AND THE POLICE OFFICERS AND SERGEANTS, SIOUX FALLS FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE #1 L.C. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SIOUX FALLS, SD: 1. That the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Sioux Falls and Lodge #1, Sioux Falls Fraternal Order of Police, providing for the terms and conditions of employment for the period from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2025, is hereby approved by the City Council. 2. That the MOU specifically amends Article 30, Promotions, to remove the requirement that years of service to the Sioux Falls Police Department must be continuous prior to being eligible for promotion.
