Present: Vice Chair Erica Mullaly, Board Member Darrell Schmith, Board Member Anita Wetsch, Board Member Mike Hart, Board Member James Krueger APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Board Member Hart made the motion to approve the agenda. BID Board Minutes from April 18, 2025 Board Member Krueger made the motion to approve BID Board Minutes from April 18, 2024. Board Member Hart seconded the motion. The motion Passed 5 to 0. 2. 2025 BID Budget Amendment Taryn Sietsema shared that the budget amendment is due to the final assessment number being established. The additional revenue for the amendment will be added to the reserves to help cover the replacement cost for depreciable assets. The total budget will reflect $508,632.35. Board Member Mike Hart made the motion to approve. Board Member Wetsch seconded the motion. The motion Passed 5 to 0. 3. 2025 BID Assessment Powers stated that the proposed BID roll was filed with the City Finance Department July 22, 2025, and a mailed notice was given to all property owners on the roll. A representative of The Hotel Phillips asked how the assessment was calculated: Powers shared the total assessment is based on the calculation of: Building Value: $1.50 / 1,000 for building valuati on $0-1 million $0.50 / 1,000 for building valuati on over $1 million Land Value: $1.00 / 1,000 for land valuati on $0-200,000 $0.50 / 1,000 for land valuati on over $200,000 A representative of 721 E 8th Street had concerns over the trash in the area and that their not sure they are recieving benefit from the ambassadors. Sietsema responded with a map showing how often they are in the area and provided the direct contact information for the representative to call for the ambassadors. Board Member Mike Hart made the motion to approve . Board Member Krueger seconded the motion.
