MINUTES Tuesday, May 29, 2012 Informational Meeting 4:00 PM at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Sue Aguilar, Kenny Anderson Jr., James Entenman, Michelle Erpenbach, Greg Jamison, Dean Karsky, Rex Rolfing, Kermit L. Staggers, and Mike T. Huether Members Absent: None Staff Present: Lorie Hogstad, City Clerk; Jim David, Legislative Operations Manager; Dave Bixler, Budget Analyst; and Denise D. Tucker, CMC, Assistant City Clerk 1. Call To Order City Council Chair Michelle Erpenbach called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. 2. Staff Report A. Lorie Hogstad, City Clerk Hogstad said Alpha Video is almost done with their punch list for finishing up work in the Council Chambers. Discussion followed. 3. City Council Open Discussion Jamison said he and Councilor Dean Karsky have been working on making revisions to Ordinance 13-04. He said this regards the Capital Improvement Program, and how to improve it for the future. They are working on the final details and will be sending it to the City Attorney for help with the language. Jamison said this will: define who will be on and will chair the CIP Committee; how it works; recommend potential projects to be considered early on in the budget cycle; and would outline more details on development driven streets. Jamison said this will go to the Fiscal Committee and City Council next week. Erpenbach said they are trying to get a formal group photo taken. She said taking one at Falls Park would have to be done early in the morning. An informal poll was taken and this would not work for some Councilors. The photo will be taken in the Council Chambers, prior to a Tuesday afternoon meeting. Erpenbach read the new line up of internal City Council Committees. Audit Committee:  1. Greg Jamison, Chair 2.
