MINUTES Tuesday, October 8, 2013 Informational Meeting 4:00 PM at Carnegie Town Hall Sioux Falls City Council 235 West Tenth Street Members Present: Sue Aguilar, Kenny Anderson Jr., James Entenman, Michelle Erpenbach, Dean Karsky, and Kermit L. Staggers Members Absent: Greg Jamison, Rex Rolfing and Mike T. Huether 1. Call To Order Council Chair James Entenman called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. 2. City Council Open Discussion Discussion was held regarding recent neighborhood meetings held in the Otonka Trail neighborhood and the presence of police officers at these meetings. 3. Executive Session A. Proposed or pending litigation and contractual matters under SDCL 1-25-2(3). A motion was made by Council Member Dean Karsky and seconded by Council Member Michelle Erpenbach to go into Executive Session at 4:02 p.m. for the purpose of discussing proposed or pending litigation and contractual matters under SDCL 1-25-2(3). Vote to approve: Roll Call: Yeses, Kermit L. Staggers, Kenny Anderson Jr., Michelle Erpenbach, Dean Karsky, Sue Aguilar, 5. Noes, 0. Motion Passed. B. Personnel matters pursuant to SDCL 1-25-2(1). A motion was made by Council Member Michelle Erpenbach and seconded by Council Member Sue Aguilar to go into Executive Session at 4:02 p.m. for the purpose of discussing personnel matters pursuant to SDCL 1-25-2(1). Vote to approve: Roll Call: Yeses, Kermit L. Staggers, Kenny Anderson Jr., Michelle Erpenbach, Dean Karsky, Sue Aguilar, 5. Noes, 0. Motion Passed. A motion was made by Council Member Michelle Erpenbach and seconded by Council Member Dean Karsky to go out of Executive Session at 5:01 p.m. 4.
