MINUTES Informational Meeting Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 4:00 PM Carnegie Town Hall, 235 West 10th St., Sioux Falls, SD 57104 1. Call To Order Council Members Present: David Barranco, Sarah Cole, Rich Merkouris, Jennifer Sigette, Curt Soehl, Richard L. Thomason Council Members Absent: Miranda Basye, Ryan Spellerberg Council Chair Curt Soehl called the meeting to order at 4 p.m. and stated that there was a quorum. 2. Councilor Remarks Soehl commented that the Scheel's Ice Plex is closed temporarily due to equipment not operating. 3. Presentations A. August 2024 Monthly Financial Statements by Shawn Pritchett, Director of Finance Presentation: Approximately 10 minutes followed by discussion Shawn Pritchett, Director of Finance, gave a report on the August 2024 monthly financial statements (presentation attached to the agenda). Following the presentation, Councilor questions were answered by Pritchett. B. Code Enforcement Update by Kevin Smith, Assistant Director of Planning and Development Services Presentation: Approximately 20 minutes followed by discussion Kevin Smith, Assistant Director of Planning and Development Services, gave an update on Code Enforcement (presentation attached to the agenda). After the presentation, questions from the Council were answered by Smith. 4. Public Comment There was none. 5. Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 5:11 p.m. Jermery J. Washington, City Clerk
