Call to Order and Roll Call. Meeting called to order by Chair Laurant at 7:00 p.m. Commissioners Present Commissioners Not Present Staff Present Daniel Laurant, Chair Daniel McElmurray, Planning Director Christy West, Vice Chair Erica Smith, Planning Secretary Sharon Jacobs Billy Provenzano Travis Thompson-7:02 P.M. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Minutes. Motion by Vice Chair West to approve minutes of December 5, 2024 as written; Commissioner Jacobs seconded. A vote of 5 YAYS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTAIN approved the minutes. 4. Public Hearings a. V25-01: A request for a variance from area regulations in the A-6 Single-Family Urban district; for property located at 3623 Riviera Drive; identified as Lot 150, Square 9, in Lakeshore Village Subdivision. Introduced by Chair Laurant. Director McElmurray addressed the Commission and recommended denial. Mr. Doug Taylor of Davie Shoring was present to answer questions/concerns by the Commission. Vice Chair West made a motion to deny the variance, seconded by Commissioner Provenzano. A vote of 5 YAYS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTAIN DENIED V25-01. b. V25-02: A request for a variance from area regulations in the A-6 Single-Family Urban district; for property located at 763 Pine Tree Street; identified as Lot 17, Square 7, Pine Crest Subdivision. Introduced by Chair Laurant. Director McElmurray addressed the Commission and recommended denial. Mr. Doug Taylor of Davie Shoring was present to answer questions/concerns by the Commission. Commissioner Provenzano made a motion to deny the variance, seconded by Commissioner Jacobs. A vote of 5 YAYS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTAIN DENIED V25-02. 5. Other Business a. There was no other business. 6.
