Call to Order and Roll Call. Meeting called to order by Chairperson Darby at 5:01 p.m. Commissioners Present Commissioners Not Present Staff Present Darren Darby, Chair Jessica Fawer, Vice Chair Danny McElmurray, Planning Director Jason Clayton (via Zoom) Dawn Crippin Anatolii Sysoiev, Planner Michelle Cramer Erica Smith, Planning Secretary 2. Minutes. Motion by Commissioner Crippin to approve minutes of March 8, 2023 as written; Commissioner Cramer seconded. A vote of 4 YAYS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTAIN approved the minutes. 3. Public Hearings a. CA23-07: A request for a Certificate of Appropriateness for exterior alterations to Norfolk Southern, City of Slidell Train Depot located at 1827 Front Street, Slidell, requested by National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak). Introduced by Chairperson Darby, Jenna Solomon of Amtrak joined the meeting via Zoom to discuss Amtrak’s plans to upgrade the Slidell train station and answered questions by the Commission. The motion to approve the exterior alterations with the caveat that all metals should be painted black was made by Commissioner Crippin, seconded by Commissioner Clayton, and a vote of 4 YAYS, 0 NAYS, 0 ABSTAIN for approval. 4.
