Snohomish County Council Public Hearings Meeting Minutes Megan Dunn, Council Chair Jared Mead, Council Vice-Chair Councilmembers: Sam Low, Nate Nehring Wednesday, September 14, 2022 6:00 PM Jackson Board Room & Remote Meeting PRESENT: Council Chair Dunn Council Vice-Chair Mead (remote) Councilmember Low Councilmember Nehring District 3 (vacant) Ryan Countryman, Council Staff Debbie Eco, Clerk of the Council Lisa Campfield, Asst. Clerk of the Council CALL TO ORDER Council Chair Dunn called the Council to order at 6:00 p.m. ROLL CALL The clerk called the roll and stated that four members were present. ACTION ITEMS 1. Ordinance 22-028, relating to the Growth Management Act, 2022-0665 adopting technical amendments to the Snohomish County Growth Management Act Comprehensive Plan and Title 10 Snohomish County Code (GPP 22-3 -Technical Corrections) Council Chair Dunn opened the public hearing and the clerk read the ordinance title into the record. Ryan Countryman, Sr. Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report, and explained that this ordinance would adopt several technical amendments to maps and text in the Snohomish County Growth Management Comprehensive Plan and Title 10 of the Snohomish County Code. He briefly explained the map changes to reflect recent annexations. Page 1 of 2 Public Hearings Meeting Minutes September 14, 2022 Council Chair Dunn opened the hearing for public testimony and provided instructions for those wishing to provide testimony for both in-person and remote, via Zoom. There being no persons present wishing to testify, Chair Dunn closed the testimony portion of the hearing calling for a motion or discussion of the Council. ACTION: Vice-Chair Mead made a motion to approve Ordinance 22-028. Councilmember Low seconded the motion. Vice-Chair Mead made a motion to approve Amendment Sheet 1. Councilmember Nehring seconded the motion and it carried unanimously by the four members present. The question was called for and the clerk called the roll. The motion to approve Ordinance 22-028, as amended, carried unanimously by the four members present. ADJOURN There being no further business, Council Chair Dunn adjourned the Council for the day at 6:05 p.m. Page 2 of 2
