CALL TO ORDER
Council Chair Mead called the public hearing to order at 10:30 a.m.

The clerk called the roll and stated that four members were present.

1. Ordinance 23-013, approving the Interagency Agreement with 2023-0151
Department of Ecology for the Pollution Prevention Assistance
Program
Council Chair Mead opened the hearing and the clerk read the ordinance title
into the record.
Heidi Beazizo, Council Chief of Staff, provided an overview of the proposed
agreement through June 30, 2023 for the total amount of $171,095.63.

Council Chair Mead opened the hearing for public testimony. There being no
persons present wishing to testify, he closed the testimony portion of the hearing
calling for a motion or discussion of the Council.
ACTION: Councilmember Dunn made a motion to approve Ordinance 23-013.
Councilmember Low seconded the motion. The clerk called the roll and the
motion to approve Ordinance 23-013 carried unanimously by the four members
present.

2. Ordinance 23-014, approving and authorizing the Snohomish 2023-0130
County Council to ratify and confirm termination of ABC
Agreements with the United States Army Corps of Engineers
Council Chair Mead opened the hearing and the clerk read the ordinance title
into the record.
Nicole Gorle, Senior Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report explaining the
proposed termination of the agreements for Fern Bluff, Crabbs, Robe Hill,
Marshland, and Schlamp levees that have been abandoned and no longer serve
a public purpose
Council Chair Mead opened the hearing for public testimony. There being no
persons present wishing to testify, he closed the testimony portion of the hearing
calling for a motion or discussion of the Council.
ACTION: Councilmember Dunn made a motion to approve Ordinance 23-014.
Councilmember Low seconded the motion. The clerk called the roll and the
motion to approve Ordinance 23-014 carried unanimously by the four members
present.
ADJOURN
There being no further business, Council Chair Mead adjourned the Council for the day at
10:34 a.m.
