Drewel Building & Remote Meeting CALL TO ORDER Chair Mead called the Council to order at 10:30 a.m. ROLL CALL The clerk called the roll and stated that all five members were present. ACTION ITEMS PRESENT: Council Chair Mead Council Vice-Chair Nehring Councilmember Low (remote) Councilmember Dunn Councilmember Peterson Nicole Gorle, Council Staff Elena Lao, Deputy Clerk of the Council 1. Ordinance 24-094, approving Amendment No. 24 to consolidated 2024-2632 contract with Washington State Department of Health and providing authority to approve any future amendments Chair Mead opened the public hearing. Nicole Gorle, Senior Legislative Analyst, provided a staff report. Page 1 of 2 Public Hearings Meeting Minutes November 06, 2024 Chair Mead opened the hearing for public testimony. There being no persons present wishing to testify, he closed the testimony portion of the hearing. ACTION: Vice-Chair Nehring made a motion to approve Ordinance 24-094. Councilmember Dunn seconded the motion. The clerk called the roll and the motion to approve Ordinance 24-094 carried unanimously. DISCUSSION 1. Housing Policy Discussion 2024-2832 Mary Jane Brell-Vujovic and Tyler Verda, Human Services Mary Jane Brell-Vujovic, Human Services Director, and Tyler Verda, Human Services Planner, presented a PowerPoint presentation and update on the County's Emergency Bridge Housing policy review. Human Services staff responded to questions and discussion ensued. Chair Mead thanked Human Services for the information and provided closing remarks. ADJOURN Chair Mead adjourned the Council for the day at 11:03 a.m. Page 2 of 2
